The new novacares.my — cleaner, faster, built for every NOVA parent
Assalamualaikum and warm greetings, NOVACares family.
After months of work behind the scenes, our website has been completely rebuilt — same address, novacares.my, but faster, cleaner on your phone, and with some genuinely useful new features. Every old link ever shared in our WhatsApp groups still works — nothing to re-find, nothing to re-bookmark.
What's there for parents
📅 Events calendar — PB (Pulang Bermalam), exeat, exam weeks and activities, all in one place: novacares.my/community/events. Every event has a "+ Google Calendar" and "+ iPhone/.ics" button — one tap and the dates go straight into your own phone's calendar. The next big event always shows on the homepage with a countdown.
🚌 Bus booking — Book seats for PB and holiday trips at novacares.my → Apps → Transport. Pay online (FPX via ToyyibPay), get your receipt by email, and check your booking status anytime through the link you're given. When a booking window opens, a notice appears on the homepage — and a "Book bus seats" button appears right on the PB event in the calendar.
🚗 Carpool — Offering empty seats, or looking for a ride for your child? The carpool board matches parents with each other. Manage your offers and requests through the links sent to your email.
🏆 Academic challenges — The NOVA challenge leaderboard (student names are shown in shortened form, to protect our children's privacy).
📖 Stories & announcements — Community news, programme recaps and official announcements at novacares.my/stories.
Three steps to get the most out of it — two minutes, once
Log in once. No password — enter your email, receive a 6-digit code, done. Then save your children's names under My Account so future bus bookings fill themselves in.
Turn on notifications. Under My Account → Notifications, one tap — monthly reminders and important announcements come straight to your phone.
Add it to your home screen. Open novacares.my in your browser, choose Add to Home Screen — the site works just like an app.
